Craveability, quality, and being proudly American-Chinese were the three main touch points that Panda’s refresh was centered around.
One of Panda Express’ more premium dishes, Wok Seared Steak & Shrimp, was aimed to give viewers an exclusive look in the dish’s creation from the POV of the wok master. The creative was centered around showcasing the artistry and craftsmanship of wok cooking while celebrating each delicious ingredient.
Unlike the more premium LTOs, Panda’s Lunar New Year campaign is centered around the traditions of sharing good food, and good fortune through togetherness. Lunar New Year is an important time for Panda Express to showcase themselves as a cultural bridge builder between eastern and Western cultures.
Before and After
Each translite was built from scratch with a combination of self-produced assets and stock. The composites ultimately informed the direction for each shoot, which meant they had to look as close to final result as possible.
